Only four teams remain in Creative Misfortune's fantasy playoffs!
How much of an impact did gaining a first round bye and the Bye-Week Advantage give Denver, New England, New Orleans and Seattle? See the divisional matchup results below to find out.
Creative Misfortune Playoff Schedule:
Week 15 - Championship Games
Week 16 - Creative Misfortune Fantasy Bowl II
High score of Divisional weekend goes to the Denver Broncos, who scored 160 fantasy points. Even without their impressive 28-point bye-week advantage they still would have been the highest scoring team of the week by 21 points.
Low score falls to the Detroit Lions at 49 fantasy points. The snow in Philadelphia was anything but kind to the Lions and following their real-life loss to the Eagles, they find themselves now locked in a dogfight with the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers. Not only did it damage their hopes of solidifying their hold on the NFC North division title, it cost them a chance to advance to the championship round in fantasy football's second season.
Closest Game of the Week: New England Patriots 111, Kansas City Chiefs 107. The AFC's second highest seeded team needed every last bit of their bye-week advantage to get past the tough Kansas City Chiefs. The Patriots will be hard pressed to advance to Fantasy Bowl III without a bye-week advantage when they face the Denver Broncos in the championship round.
Fantasy Star of the Week: Josh McCown, 38 points. McCown led the Bears to victory in real-life and the fantasy playoffs with his outstanding 5-TD performance against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night. His play of late will make it very difficult for the Bears to bench him once Jay Cutler is ready to play again.

*Bye-week Advantage - To reflect the benefit gained by the top 2 seeds in each conference getting a bye week before they host Divisional Playoff games, the four teams who earn these bye weeks in the fantasy standings will play Week 13 to gain bonus points that will be added to their score in the Divisional Playoff round. For every 4 points they score in their Week 13 game, they will receive 1 bonus point in their Divisional round matchup.
Since there are no bye weeks between the Divisional games and the Championship Games, bonus points will only be a factor in the Divisional playoff games.
