Week 5 Results (2013) ~ "If Real Football Used Fantasy Scoring..."

In week 5, there were a few wild games that shook up the fantasy standings a bit. Three teams won fantasy games this week they lost in real life. The Chicago Bears ended the Saints' undefeated season with an 82-81 win... The Atlanta Falcons, losers on Monday Night, defeated the New York Jets 70-69 and the Dallas Cowboys took out the Denver Broncos in the fantasy world on the strength of Tony Romo's 500+ yards passing and 5 TDs. After these fantasy upsets, only the Kansas City Chiefs remain a perfect 5-0 in this alternate world.

High score of the week goes to the Dallas Cowboys, who scored 131 points against the Denver Broncos, whose 128 points gave them the second-most points this week.

Low score falls to the Houston Texans at 24 points. Houston was the only team this week that failed to score more fantasy points than the real number of points scored against them (34 by the San Francisco 49ers).

Closest Game of the Week: Chicago Bears 82, New Orleans Saints 81. An extremely close fantasy game goes in favor of the Da Bears.

Fantasy Star of the Week: Tony Romo, 40 points. If only he didn't throw that last interception with two minutes to go, he could have had even more points this week.
