High score of the week ended up being 100 points, achieved by both the Piitsburgh Steelers and the San Francisco 49ers, who demolished their opponents, the Tennessee Titans and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Low score falls to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 17 points, who were unable to score enough fantasy points to beat the real 48 points the San Francisco 49ers scored against them.
Closest Game of the Week: Seattle Seahawks 93, New York Giants 91. That final, game-sealing interception not only won Seattle the game for real, but gave their defense just enough fantasy points to help the Seahawks break into the fantasy win column with a quite unexpected fantasy victory.
Fantasy Star of the Week: Adrian Peterson, 30 points. For once this season the Vikings didn't squander the first half lead they built up on the strength of Peterson's three first quarter touchdowns.
