Hall of Fame Game ~ Prediction and Creative Misfortune Fantasy Lineups

Throughout the regular season and playoffs, I will predict the results of NFL matchups and also present each team’s Creative Misfortune Fantasy Football lineup for the week. The fantasy lineups will consist of the most productive players for each team at each position and, just like in real fantasy football (EDITOR’S NOTE: Fantasy football may not be real, ok, but it is reality), there are no substitutions.

If a team’s starting running back gets pulled at the goal-line for the 4th string fullback to vulture the touchdown, then too bad. That team will lose those points in the Creative Misfortune Fantasy matchup. Fantasy standings will be updated every Tuesday and all fantasy scores will be calculated based on the NFL’s official fantasy football scoring system used for their public leagues.

Now, for the first official prediction of the season!
Note: Because this is a pre-season game, this prediction has a plus or minus accuracy of a few points to account for rookie mistakes, general rustiness, reality-show related antics, etc.

Hall of Fame Game Prediction:
