Week 13 - Wild Card Results (2013) ~ "If Real Football Used Fantasy Scoring..."

Creative Misfortune's fantasy playoffs are in full swing! Wild Card matchup results are shown below and it certainly ended up being a weekend for Wild Cards as all the lower seeds advanced to the divisional round of the playoffs.

Creative Misfortune Upcoming Playoff Schedule:
Week 14 - Divisional Games
Week 15 - Championship Games
Week 16 - Creative Misfortune Fantasy Bowl III

High score of Wild Card weekend goes to the Detroit Lions, who scored 118 fantasy points in their Thanksgiving Day game against the Green Bay Packers. The impressive display helped the Lions upset the Philadelphia Eagles in their fantasy Wild Card matchup.

Low score falls to the Green Bay Packers at 24 fantasy points. Completely manhandled in real-life by the Lions, the Packers struggled mightily on Thanksgiving Day and their fantasy season came to a screeching halt. The game did significant damage to their real playoff hopes, too.

Closest Game of the Week: Kansas City Chiefs 81, Indianapolis Colts 69. Despite losing to Denver in real life, Kansas City played well enough fantasy-wise to upset the AFC South champion Colts and advance to the Divisional round of Creative Misfortune's "If Real Football Used Fantasy Scoring..." playoffs.

Fantasy Star of the Week: Eric Decker, 41 points. With the Broncos playing for bye-week advantage, Eric Decker set a Denver record by hauling in 4 TD passes from Peyton Manning. Decker helped lead the Broncos to over 110 points as they gained an impressive 28-point bye week advantage for their divisional matchup next week against the Miami Dolphins, newcomers to the Creative Misfortune fantasy playoffs.

For every 4 points they score in their Week 13 game, they will receive 1 bonus point in their Divisional round matchup.

Since there are no bye weeks between the Divisional games and the Championship Games, bonus points will only be a factor in the Divisional playoff games.
