Predictions of Creative Misfortune - MNF - Week 1 (2014)

With two games remaining in week 1, the first week of predictions showed the following results for our systems...

Creative Misfortune's Home/Away PPY came out on top, hitting 9 out of 14 games over the weekend, a solid, if not impressive, 64.29% accuracy percentage. Better than picking the Home team, but not much better.

Almost all other systems, including the blind pick systems, Home Team and Best Record, tied for second getting 8 out of 14 games picked correctly for a very "home team wins" 57.1% accuracy.

The Vegas Lines system finished in last place, only able to pick 50% of the week 1 winners accurately so far. History shows this formula will get stronger as the year goes on, but we will see if 2014 shapes up to be an off-year for Vegas as the NFL continues to be the most unpredictable of sports.
